repeat after me:

Rock. Scissors. PLAY-per. Here’s how to make parenting playful.

It’s therapy made fun.

“My children actually listen now!!” - E.B

Ready for a low friction life?

Insert therapy based play, that turns life skills into family friendly games. (You’re welcome).

Look at you legendary human, you’ve got the card deck in your overstimulated parents hands.

Pick up a card. Read the purpose. Read the HOW TO. Note the skills.

The HOW TO on each card describes the steps to take to make the game come to life.

There is also a game cheat sheet that gives you a quick insight into what each game is about, it might make you smile.

The Card Deck can be used from 1 to 33 in sequence, or toddler picked at random while they laugh wildly at the splayed colour and find their favourite character.

There are 33 cards, if you want to take this play therapy very seriously, I invite you to pick one every fortnight for 26 weeks and have 7 Bonus cards for school holidays.

Do each game for two weeks, because little brains need and love repetition.

The games are timeless and are great for little toddlers, crayon covered pre-schoolers and school age kids who are having new experiences that they have no words for.

Older kids love these too (but only when we aren’t looking).

Let me know your wins, your joys and when you fluff up.

Let’s Be Social

    Talking isn't enough

Most families already talk about feelings.

What’s missing is understanding the developmental skill of each other in real moments.

The cards turn emotional intelligence into something you do, not debate until you’re both crying (we’ve all been there).

  • A couple with a baby, depicted in a simple, outlined style.

Kids learn through seeing, not saying

Kids don’t absorb our lectures (or they would have worked by now right?).

They absorb tone, repetition, play and safety.

The cards teach regulation, consent, empathy, and life skills through play-based wiring (kids language of love!).

  • A cute, cartoon-style teddy bear with outstretched arms, sitting upright.

    Tech is loud

    Not here to shame, ever.

Science shows tech moves 800x faster than nature. It’s unrealistic that a kids undercooked brain can joyfully transition from colourful cartoons to playing outside without friction.

The cards, bridge the gap. Brings everyone back into eye contact, shared attention, co-regulation and simple connection rituals.

No performance, simply a path to each other that works.

  • A heart-shaped puzzle with two pieces fitting together, one dark blue and one light brown.

Most adults weren't taught how to play

You can’t pass down what you didn’t receive.

This one can sting. Play is the natural state for kids. As adults our brains lessen the priority of play.

But we feel the distance, the exhaustion and the guilt, oh the guilt.

The cards remind us all of how much fun, fun is.

    Art and knowledge

In a world of fast and furious AI.

This card deck is intentional and each illistration is one of a kind. Hand crafted by Artist Biffy Brentano.

It also contains decades of therapy knowledge from thousands of hours with kids and adults who’s loneliness, suffering and disconnection inspired this work.

You are appreciated.
